Though we still like to go snowshoe with our dogs in the snow, our skijoring days have dwindled.  Our lead dog Uma had two cruciate ligament surgeries & has arthritis so she no longer skijors though she adores the snow.  Yasek can still pull Robbie for short stints, but he is arthritic too.  Angel is young and athletic enough for the sport, but her attention wanders from her pulling duties.  Of course, our newest addition, Linus the Chihuahua, does not meet the size requirement for pulling & though he'll run along in the snow with us, he likes to be warm basking in the sun instead of on the white stuff.
