Jon and Robbie of Chelan Dog are one of the biggest gifts Milo has received in his life.  A mix of golden retriever, black lab, and border collie, we got Milo when he was eight weeks old and had him in the puppy socialization class one week later with our whole family.  Milo is my fifth dog - and I've read a lot of books about dog training.  Honestly, I signed up for the class so our whole family would be on the same page, not because I thought I needed a six-week dog training class for myself.

It turns out the first four months of a dog's life are a super easy time to socialize a dog to all sorts of sights, sounds, and experiences - something I never knew before.  With Jon's guidance, we socialized Milo to everything from noisy motorcycles, postal workers, to overzealous kids.  I realized from this class that we get to create the world Milo gets to live in, either by what we do or by what we neglect to do for our dog.  Because of Chelan Dog - Milo is at ease with his surroundings and obedient to our family.  I use what I learned from Jon every single day - and because of the class I'm having more fun training Milo than any previous dog I've had.  Thank you Jon and Robbie.  I hope everyone in our area finds their way to your classes.  We'll be back next year to teach Milo to skijor!

Hi Robbie & Jon,

I just wanted to thank you so much for your wonderful care of my little Charly while we were in Chelan (as well as his cousin Bear).  I think he is getting used to being home now, but misses all of the fun and pampering he got while in your care.  It was so nice to be able to enjoy our annual vacation in Lake Chelan and not worry how he was, and be able to stop in and take him out for a walk.

I look forward to the email of digital photos from his stay as I want to share it with others.  Your home is Charly's home away from home.

Hey guys,

I just wanted to let you know that without you guys, I wouldn't have made it with my dog Tonka.  Jon you are so wonderful with dogs and your classes are very helpful.  I see you guys as mine and my dog's special angels.  You guys are amazing and Tonka is doing so good.  I don't know what I would've done without you.
