Our third dog, Angel, is a 6-year-old Rhodesian Ridgeback (this breed was bred to hunt lions in Africa and then alert the hunter). She was rejected from a breeder for not having the “ridge” of hair going the opposite way down her spine. She was Jon’s assigned “rescue dog” when he attended a 3-month extensive dog training program deep in the heart of Texas. At the end of the training, we adopted her and brought her home to the Northwest. She’s been keeping our home lion-free ever since. She loves to run and looks as graceful as a gazelle, hardly touching the ground, except to roll in something stinky! She always thinks the grass is greener over there - the other dog's Kong or toy. She loves to do sexy poses and ridgie break dances.
