THE LUKE FAMILY AKA CHELAN DOG –

We are Robbie and Jon Luke with our canine kids: Linus, Yasek, Uma, & Angel.  Jon and Robbie have been married 12 years and dated for about 9 years before that. We met at Central Washington University and were friends for years. We’ve both had numerous career changes and are now trusting the universe to allow us to follow our passion – DOGS!  So far our wishes are coming true!  Jon works at Dogwise in Wenatchee during the day and offers dog training classes in the evenings.  Robbie works three days a week at the Village Veterinarian and offers dog boarding and some limited days of doggie daycare.  We're up to our ears in all things DOG, but we love it!

We moved to beautiful Lake Chelan in December 2006 after selling our home near Newport, Oregon. We loved the beach and seafood, but missed actual summer weather.  We had also found a new winter sport, skijoring, that we wanted to be able to do more often (without a 2-hour commute to and from the mountains). We've been cross-country skiing for more than 20 years and vacationing in the Lake Chelan area. We’ve both been dog lovers forever. The combination of skiing with our dogs was an exciting discovery and we’re now hooked!
